The size of the inner hose (the whitetransparent one) used in thedemonstration is ID≈0.23"/6mm, OD≈0.36"/9.2mm. The fittings are not suitable for hoses that are too far away from this size, such as Zero-G hose.

This product is fantastic IF you have the tools and expertise!! First. The tools required are as listed.1- a 1/2 allen socket or key2- Channel lock pliers or comparable3- A set of sharp scissors4- needle nose pliers (to grab the sheathing)First things first, cut your hose at least 12-14 inches below where the leak is.Second pull the sheathing away from the inner rubber tube exposing around 4 or 5 inches at least.Third take your new connector and insert your 1/2 inch allen key into the female portion (the one that goes onto the faucet) and grasp the other end with your pliers. Now rotate opposite of each other in order to disassemble the piece.Now you're left with the separated pieces and a white locking collar for the hose.Thread your hose through the plastic collar and slip the white locking piece over the internal hose, move the sheathing just inside the collar and thread the connector on and tighten. You want the external sheathing to be tight enough so it doesn't try to separate under water pressure, but not so tight that you cannot thread the collar on.
