I got the 3/4 inch 100 foot hose, and it replaced the previous one that was a 5/8 inch hose that I had for 28 years. The hose I had for 28 years did not fail. It was damaged by a lawn mower, and still in perfect condition, other than the fact that it was damaged by a lawn mower, and I never had a problem with kinks of any kind. At first I though that the 3/4 inch hose might not fit my standard water connection, on the outside of the house, but that was not a problem at all due to both ends being the same size as a 5/8 inch hose. Bottom line is that you will not be disappointed with either the 5/8 or the 3/4 inch hose. I would recommend this to anyone needing a perfect hose.
