Simple structure and easy operation
I ordered two of the #50 models and was fairly happy with the shipping speed.What I’m not happy about is that both units I received are extremely hard to use since the screw binds badly for the entire length of travel, even when unloaded. I’ve verified that it’s the screw itself and not the bar hanging up on either side. I get about 90 degrees of easy turning and about 90 degrees of hard turning over the entire length of travel.I’ve also tried lubricating the screw which makes no difference at all.When trying to use the clamp as intended, the extra force needed to compress the hose makes it hard to have any kind of reasonable control over flow. I’m not impressed, especially at this price.
