While this hose is light and does expand it was not a heavy duty hose. I used it in my back fields and had to stretch it out after a few uses it no longer shrinks down to the original size. But it is a good hose to use if you are elderly or limited in some way because itis so light. I replaced this hose with a heavier duty hose and will keep this one by the greenhouse to water in there and get the vehicles washed. It also comes with a very nice cut off valve made of brass not cheap plastic.I bought this because I have a hard time dragging a regular hose all over my yard. This is light weight so you it’s very easy to use. When you turn the water off the hose starts shrinking so it’s very maneuverable. RobinI now own 3-different sizes of these hoses. All of them work great!Works likes it's supposed toBought two of these about a year ago. Thought they would last longer. The first one broke about three months ago. The second one broke about two weeks ago. Not sure if it is because of the Florida heat but will not buy again.This hose is awesome! It is lightweight but so well made. It uses very little space and is so easy to pile up and put away, no more trying to curl a plastic hose into a small spot!! It is tough, brass connectors and the shut-off valve are great features! This is our second one, we bought the 20' for the spa area which is perfect for cleaning and hosing down the deck. The free sprayer is the best one I have ever owned, I have paid up to 20$ for sprayers that are no where near as good.My favorite hose of all time. I like how it expands and then shrinks back down when you are done watering. Pretty durable so far. I had the 30 ft one for almost a year and it tore. Trying to take better care of this one.
