This is a Chinese product, so the instructions leave quite a bit to be desired. The hose seems stout, but the heating cable is "large" in size. When it finally turns on it will provide you with hot water for the length of the hose! After one night it is still working, so I can't gripe too much. The "smart" thermostat doesn't turn on until the air temperature is right at 32F, but that is OK. It is Chinese plastic so it is stiff and probably won't last that long, but that remains to be seen.I tried to register the purchase and found that their system couldn't find the Amazon number, so it wouldn't let me register it. The emails they give you to contact them do not function. Pretty sure this is intentional. Out of sight, out of mind. They've got their money, so they don't care. Would I purchase again? Not at their retail price, but this one was on sale, about 1/2 of what it is normally listed on Amazon for, so even if it fails after a short time, I'm not out that much.
