I purchased this after the Winter apocalypse we had in Texas in February 2021.By the time I realized just how cold it was going to get, it was too late to remove the hose from the threaded spigot, so I simply cut through it with some sheet metal shears.After everything thawed out, hoses were nowhere to be found at our local big box hardware stores, so I decided to repair it. Repair kits were also nowhere to be found.Amazon to the rescue.It arrived in a couple of days. It was bit too snug to connect so I used some dish detergent as a lubricant. Tightened up the screw and it works great - no leaks.Much less expensive than buying another 50-foot garden hose and the materials are much better, too. I consider it an upgrade, not just a repair.
