I have waited two years to write this review. The front of my house faces east and the back faces west. I bought 2-100 ft hoses for each location. The hose in the back of the house I store in an oversized pot. However, it is in direct sunlight for a good 10-12 hours a day, but the worst part of the day. This hose got multiple little pinprick size holes about 6 inches from the spigot within the first 4 month. No possible way anything could snag, so very weird. The hose in the front gets about 6/hours of sun and was in perfect condition after one year. This year I brought the good hose to the back and replaced the front with a different brand. Ugh, so should not have messed with it. We are now three full months into the season and I got my first pinprick hole.Now, what do I Love about this hose? More durable than the pocket hose at 1/3 the price. The shut off valve on the hose. Holy cow! I cannot believe this is the only expandable hose that has this feature. WORTH IT, WORTH IT, WORTH IT!!! As unbelievable as it may be, but the free sprayer is my favorite sprayer. I have probably a dozen and this is absolutely my favorite. Even more than my $15 and $20 sprayers.Did the hose technically last me a season, yes (kind of). However, I actually do like it so much that I bought a 50 ft this year to my added garden collection.As a side note, if you are fortunate like myself to have two spigots on your house, you can actually run two spritz sprinklers at the same time with minimal loss of water pressure. For years this was not a possibility as I used to use those super heavy rubber hoses.Hope this helps in your future evaluations. In short, I gave 4 stars for longevity but would have given 5 for my overall happiness.I purchased this hose March 2021. I am replacing hose now. Hose started leaking near valve that hooks to water supply. Started as small leak and the hose will not fill with water anymore. Love the hose though. Not heavy and easy to move and put away. I will buy another. Wish they last longerAs advertised.Exactly what I was looking for and love the style.I bought two 100ft hoses in May of 2021. I drained and stored the hoses in the garage after every use. One of the hoses made it until March of 2022 and the other gave out in April 2022. I would say their durability is about equal to the traditional garden hoses I've had. But, they are so much easier to maneuver and carry around than traditional hoses. Since I haven't found a hose that has the ability to last, I'll continue to choose the flexible hose over the traditional hose. And, after experiencing a hose with a shut off valve at the end, I don't ever want to go back to a hose without it!This worked great last year for Summer and then we put it away. Well on the first use this month the plastic knob on the lever popped out and now water gushes from it… not even a year in.I like the hose. I use it on my patio to water my potted plants, and it is not bulky like a regular hose. It seems to be of good quality and looks durable. I did not, however, receive the spray nozzle that is in the pictures and description of the product.Lightweight and doesn’t kink. Unfortunately it started leaking after 2 months. The company has replaced it. Gets 3 stars instead of zero because of the replacement. Hopefully this one lasts longer
