I bought this hose in December. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the water started getting foamy and having a chemical odor. It has been getting warmer during the days here, so I thought it was from the sun possibly heating up the water in the hose. We still have been having freezing temperatures at night so I have left the hose plugged in. Thankfully, I was home today, as I was watching my 8 month old grandson. I heard a pop and then smelt something burning. I ran outside the camper to find the cord to the hose burning. It almost caught my camper on fire. I would not recommend this hose to anyone
