1 1/2" Water Discharge Hose is used to transfer media (water, mild chemicals, light slurry water, etc.) from one place to another. Its most commonly used in combination with a trash pump and suction hose applications in construction, agriculture, general industry, and mining. It's constructed of 3 plies of polyester yarn, two-spiral polyester plies and one polyester longitudinal ply. I ordered this hose because it came ready to use. Unfortunately on both ends, the clamps holding the hose to the fittings are not tight enough, and water sprays out from between the hose and fitting. It's irritating, as I now have to cut off the non adjustable clamps that came with it, and get new hose clamps to tighten them. If I'd known both ends were going to leak, I'd have just bought the hose and fittings separately, and assembled it myself.
