UPDATED: I must say you have to be pleased with a company that stands behind their product . After I left the review below, I was contacted by the company to make sure that I was happy with their product. They gave me a full replacement and didn't even ask for the old hose back. The new hose is working well and as advertised. Thank you to this company for your customer service."Very disappointed in quality. First time I turned the water on to expand the hose, the inner hose separated from the nozzle end fitting and the inner hose retracted 15' in the sleeve making the hose useless (and, no, I don't have high water pressure in my system). Very frustrating (but, I was able to eventually fix it if you have the same problem and access to PEX equipment).So, I threw it in the trash thinking the the $$$ were gone. But then I figured I would try to fix it. So, I spent 35 minutes inching the inner hose up the sleeve and when it got to the end, I clamped it off to hold it in place. I took apart the hose fitting and found I could slide inner hose over the white barb fitting. However, it was impossible to get the crimp ring back over the inner hose and outer sleeve. No other hose clamp would work because you need to screw on the outer casing of the fitting to hold the gasketed barb in the fitting and other hose clamps are too big. Giving up on that, figured I'd try replacing the whole fitting. So, I pulled out my hose end repair parts and found a male end that was for 1/2-5/8" ID hose. I then slid a 1/2" PEX crimp ring over the hose and sleeve, which takes some maneuvering of the sleeve. Then slid the inner hose over the barb end, the sleeve over the hose and crimped the PEX ring down. That seems to holding fine. I think this would work for a hose split somewhere in the middle if you cut it and put a male end on one side and female on the other. All in all, I have a working hose, but a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this product."It's great, it's comfortable, I've had the same one for five years, 100 ft in the backyard, I water the flowers and fruit trees every day. I recommend it to everyone. For the price, it's a little high.Head was broke after one month Im not gonna spend more time and return it and start fighting for a return itI believe the settings on the water sprinkler are so unique that they are not all as useful. The pressure seems weak.It’s the third expandable hose I bought this year,what is the indication how much I like the idea(or how much I don’t like to deal with traditional hoses,or how much my hate of watering plants is connected with dealing with hoses).But this hose is disappointment,it is light ,but kinks-maybe,because while hanging it after use,I rolled it on the hanger,now I put it in loops over the hanger and it seems help,but it leaks at the connection with sprayers,which come with hose.Feel sorry that I just didn’t go to my shopping history and reorder the hose I bought previouslyThat it leaks at the hook up and by the spray any interest no how to stop it from leakingI bought two of these and love them. They're lightweight, easy to wind up, don't really kink, and love having the shutoff at the hose end. That said, one of them separated at the hose end fitting after about a month and not much use. I liked the hose so much I figured I'd give it another chance (maybe it was a manufacturing flaw). This time I bought the 3-year replacement insurance for $7. We'll see how it goes.Love how lightweight and flexible the hose is. It’s not a very high water pressure compared to a traditional rubber hose but nothing crazy. About 6 months of moderate use (water plants 2-3 times a week) m, we noticed it was starting to drip in the middle of the hose. Now, almost no water makes it out the end of hose. Puddles form within seconds; just not acceptable to last less than a year. It was stored in the shade next to the house and we made sure to release the hose pressure after use by turning off the water to the hose. Really bummed because much easier but my rubber hose lasted 10 years. I didn’t expect 10yrs from this but did expect more than one.
