The hex area makes it easy to snug down with a wrench to prevent leaks. The washer mating surface is well polished without any nicks or scratches. It come with 2 adapters and 4 washers in a little box which will help prevent damage to the critical mating surfaces.For connector gender changer is perfect. Don’t expect any leak or breakage. But would not use for constant use of pulling and winding, it may break or even leak. The quality is medium.
