TL;DR: This is a buy-it-for-life hose. But it's heavy. If that's a problem, I'd recommend getting a different one. If heavy/robust is fine, your search is over.We just got this 25' hose for our front yard. It handles the duck pen and is long enough to hose off windshields in a frost and supply our pressure washer for the rest. I chose it because Continental is an actual rubber manufacturer with experience making rubber that tolerates all seasons (there's a pun in there if you squint). It's heavy, and it sticks to concrete like a tire. But here's the thing.. It doesn't leak, and it doesn't kink up unreasonably -- or at all if you store it out of the weather. We don't store ours. It's going to sit right where you see it until we move.I'd recommend getting a swivel, because while it's not rigid, it is robust. There's no flow restriction and the fittings on it aren't like the competition's ridiculous, oversized nonsense you can (and I have) crush with your work boots *on accident* while walking through the garden section of a store. They're tough, boot tested, and as big as they need to be. No bigger. This hose isn't a waste of money. If you're able-bodied, it's the only one worth buying. If you're impaired, worried about crushing delicate plants, or work with it extensively, multiple times a day, get a lightweight cloth hose. The cloth hose will leak after a few years (or less), particularly if it freezes with any water in it. But there's no shame in getting something to suit your needs. This one will hang in there 'til you run it over with a lawn mower. Then you just cut out the damaged section, use a brass hose barb and some stainless hose clamps, and you're golden. You can finally stop buying gimmick garden hoses.Fair winds and following seas to ya!
